Can anyone recognise this lady She featured in a popular British comedy series quite a few years ago now. I have a copy of the booklet on the program with details of all the actors.

Guess Who
It's Anna Karen as herself during the time when she played the part of Olive in the British comedy series "On The Buses". It's amazing what makeup etc. can do to change someone's appearance.

Guess Who
Joyce, if you remember "On The Buses" I presume you'd also remember the character of Olive, Stan's (Reg Varney's character) plain jane sister.
Anna KAREN, alias "Olive", was born on 19 Sept. 1936 in South Africa with an Irish father & an English mother.
A quick internet search shows she's been in quite a few shows besides "On The Buses". At least part of that series is now available on DVD which I hope to get some day.
On-line references mentioning Anna Karen include:-
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0439162/
http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/guide/artic ... 4980.shtml
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/770685.stm
http://www.its-behind-you.com/granadapanto.html This one includes a report of an interview given by Anna Karen re- another show that she & her real-life husband, Terry Duggan, were in.
I have a copy of a Souvenir booklet about "On The Buses" that was published by TVTimes Extra while the series was still on-air. It includes biographical details on all the actors/actresses in the program.
