A number of members from the threetowners attended Robert's funeral this afternoon. The service in Ardeer Parish Church was very moving as the minister mentioned Robert's links to Church, Boy's Brigade, football, work and, also, the Threetowners. There was a large attendance at the church and later at the cemetery. It was clear that while Robert was short in height he was long on friends and family. I know we have said this before, but it may be worth mentioning again how much Robert will be missed by many people from many different settings - not least, from the Threetowners forum and social committee.

Me too Milda, last thing on my mind last night, first thing I thought of on awakening. Thank you, George, for thinking of those of us who could only be there in spirit.

Thanks, George. And thanks also to the others who represented those of us who couldn't be there.
I'd like to think that Robert will walk straight into the first team up there along with Peter Bird.

Good to know so many of you were able to be there. Not having thought before about the time when the service was , I found myself to be online on 3T just then...and my thoughts were with you.

Just got back from a week down in Sydney and was shocked to read of Robert's death and subsequent funeral. he will no doubt be sadly missed on this forum where he was a great contributor.

God Bless.

At the risk of being overly sentimental, here is a short Bobbydarg video composed (mainly) of pictures from the forum. Hopefully, when you click on the picture below, the video will play in your browser. If not, you may have to right-click on the link, save a local copy and then play the local version.

All I got was the music and an electonic pattern background, no pics of bobbydarg :( , I've copied the link and will try to play it later, somehow I think I'll be asking one of my kids to do it!
