Re: Chatterbox - The Virtual Cafe
Everybody can swim, I taught the wee wummin tae swim aboot 12 years ago. I had her young sister over here last year for a few months and she was terrified of getting her head wet. I told her I could have her swimming in 15 minutes, she didn't believe me. After fifteen minutes I had her swimming across the pool from one side to the other, she was so surprised and amazed that it was relly that easy.

Right Wee Boney, we'll be up there in August - I'll have two broken doon washing machines with me - Mooloolaba is the place.

I know how she felt, I'm that way myself, terrified of the water over my face, but I would love to be able to swim. How did you get her over that fear wee Boney?gnyaff wrote:was terrified of getting her head wet. I told her I could have her swimming in 15 minutes,

Maybe try a wee scone with butter in a moment. Prefer just butter - no jam. (Good butter mind, as my Mum used to say )

Re: Chatterbox - The Virtual Cafe
Quiet in here tonight. Shouldn't have opened this bottle of Chablis. With white wine you can't leave it - it has to be drunk asap. You can leave a red overnight (or so I'm told - never tried it )

Mac just in case that bottle of Chablis is gone before I get there (and by the sounds of it, it will be) I'm bringing my favorite................Pink Flamingo so get the wine glasses out an a wee bit of cheese it's midnight here in Canada.........the bewitching hour
Re: Chatterbox - The Virtual Cafe
Pink Flamingo: "This dry French rosé has fresh cherry and strawberry fruit and a round, dry finish with a dash of minerality. Pair this with ham sandwiches, chicken pot pie, or grilled vegetables. A nice choice for the picnic basket."
Midnight a bit late for a picnic but I'll happily knock up some ham sandwiches and join you in a glass
Is that your own personalised "Pink Flamingo" wine holder?
