I was at Ardrossan Academy the same time as Bryan - he was also our paper boy for a while. It brings you up short when a member of your own peer group passes - so sad. Condolences to his wife and family.

Although Bryan played for Scotland almost 40 years ago i can seem to remember him because of his name. Condolences to his family and friends.

I knew Bryan's younger brother Jimmy who was in my year group at the Academy; condolences to him and all Bryan's family and friends.

Bryan was in my year at school, and though we did not know each other well at school, a few years ago when I was at a function in West Kilbride (maybe Seamill) Golf Club, Bryan came through from the members bar to talk to me in the function lounge. He was a complete gentleman and we chatted away for five or ten minutes about old times and new. My condolences to his family.
