Ardeer Portraits Presented

The original paintings used in a national advertising campaign during the war, were dispersed on Tuesday in an unusual manner, when three employees of I.C.I. at Ardeer Works were presented with their portraits in oils. The portraits were originally painted as part of the I.C.I. adverts introducing people of the industry to the general public.

Dr J. W. McDavid, Chairman of the Nobel Division of I.C.I., presented the portraits to J. R. Douglas, Safety Officer; Miss A. Hamilton, Blasting Department; Captain R. A. Bond, retired commodore of the I.C.I. steamers.

There is a portrait of an Agnes Hamilton of Ardeer in the following topic titled Ardeer Hamiltons
