Diana Gabaldon

Post by MoseyMo »

I have read all of Diana Gabaldon books and they are all excellent. She's an American author, and her series of books about Jamie (the Scottish highlander) are among the best books I've ever read.

They are: Outlander (In the UK this book is titled "Cross-Stitch), Dragonfly in Amber, Voyager, Drums of Autumn, The Outlandish Companion, The Fiery Cross. I am eagerly awaiting her next book in the series.

Be prepared if you decide to try these books - most of them have over 1,000 pages, but I'm sure once you pick a book up you won't be able to put it down.

Hi Moseymo,
I have read and enjoyed these books too. I like that she incorporates actual history into her fiction.

Hi group, I have read Diana Gabaldon books as well. They were excellent
and I always thought they would make a good movie.
I must admit I was a wee bit disappointed in the last one,
The Fiery Cross, as were a few people I know. Maybe we were just expecting too much :!:
Happy reading..................Joyce. :)

Hi Moseymo,

I have read them all too,
Did you read Lord John and the Private Matter??
My friends and my self were very dissapointed in that one,
there was no Jamie in it, took ages to get into.
Regards Sarah
