Hi folks,

Just wanted to throw my 2 pennies in on this topic as I'm interested in ayrshire history, myths, witchcraft. Recently I found an article written by Heather Upfield who is involved in the charity organization "Remembering the Accused Witches of Scotland" or "RAWS". In her recent blog post, her research suggests that there was no recording of any witch named Sarah Vincent from Saltcoats. It's suggested there was some confusion caused by the erosion of her grave, leading many to believe it read "burning place" instead of "BURYING place". I'll link the article down below.

A recent video I produced about the saltcoats witches, hopefully the first of many I'm planning to make about ayrshire myths, legends and folklore.
