Post by Hughie »

Keep informed and up to date with the announcement pages from our local newspaper.
The Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald.

A big thank you to Tom McGrattan who over many years has kept our members informed by posting these weekly since we were an emailing group. A wonderful job Tom, very much appreciated by many of us who are scattered all around the world.

Hi, Tom,
thanks from me too. It's a thread I read closely every week, though the last few years, I open it with trepidation.

Sorry to read Bertie Ferrol has passed away. I went to school with his sister Elizabeth, and knew the whole family. Condolences to his family.

From the Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald.
Sad to see the passing of my Saltcoats cousin, Robert (Boy Lynch) who grew up in Millar Road. Had lots of funny while growing up visiting the family there and playing in the Auchenharvie woods. Condolences to Cathy, family and friends in Kilbirnie.

The Passing Of Catherine (Miller) Belle

Sad to inform members of the passing of member Catherine Belle in New Jersey. Catherine had been a great contributor to our threetowners forum from the very early days and like my wife was a native of Stevenston. She and her sister Betty visited with us for our threetowners reunion here in Australia in 2008. Betty informs me Catherine's funeral will be in New Jersey this coming Saturday.

Condolences to her family and friends.

May she rest in peace.
