The 'Snowman' - the murder DVD. A race against time to catch a killer. His trademark is building a snowman at the scene of the crime.

Saw 'The Devil's Knot' (well, half of it anyway) based on the true story of "The Memphis Three", 3 kids who were killed in woodlands in America. Another beyond tedious movie. Got it from DEBRA and it will be returned to the shop tomorrow.

Our Film club to-night in our neighbourhood house featured the 1957 movie " Witness for the Prosecution". What a great film. We vote as we leave by placing a disc in one of five slots. From what I saw everyone was giving it five. The ending has so many twists.

July 22, Watched it the other night. 8/10 For me.
22 July is not an easy watch.
The new Netflix film recounts the events of July 22nd, 2011. On that day, Norwegian far-right terrorist Anders Breivik murdered 77 people in two separate attacks.
Breivik first set off a car bomb in the Norwegian capital of Olso, killing eight people.
He then travelled to the island of Utøya, which was home to a summer camp organised by the AUF, the youth division of the Norwegian Labour Party. Dressed in a fake police uniform, Breivik opened fire and killed another 69 people, many of them teenagers.
It was the worst attack in Norway since World War II.

I should say this about the film. Chris Pine who is from the USA offers no passion as Bruce . Maybe somebody like Gerard Butler would have made a better choice ....

Went to the cinema to see Bohemian Rhapsody last week. Loved it, in fact even though it’s over two hours long, I would sit through it again. Seeing Live Aid from the other side of the stage was amazing and the actors playing the other members of Queen were fantastic. Would recommend.

Went to cinema last night and seen "Green Book" it's a film that really plays with your emotions. It made me laugh it made me sad and it made me angry. The green book was a guide to negro travelers , touring the southern states of America in the 1960's it listed places that they could find accommodation. Enjoyable and one of the few films I would watch again.

It was a toss up for me last Saturday between Green Book and Mary Queen of Scots - Mary won and I really enjoyed it. Might try and see Green Book before it disappears from the cinema. Thanks for recommendation Meekan
