The above page may be slow to download. My Mammy told me wistful tales of how she used to swim in the clear blue Firth of Clyde off Saltcoats, a seaside town just down the coast from Largs in Ayrshire, and how she once saved a man's life.
'A prisoner escaped from jail and fell into the sea off Saltcoats and I rescued him,' she told me.

Hi Josephine, Nice to be home again.
I've been to Scotland twice this year, that should keep me going for awhile.
Sadly, this trip was for my sick mum-in-law, she passed away just before we got there.
My hubby was already there for 5 weeks,so at least he got to spend some time with her. He will be back next week and believe me he is more than ready.
Bye for now.
Joyce

Hi Josephine , My wee Devin and his mammy were with me.
Have you ever tried flying with a 2 year old.
The trip there was fine he slept most of it ( night flight )
The trip back , well, that was a wee bit different, he was awake Glasgow to London, slept 1 hour on an over 8 hour flight London to Calgary, never slept from Calgary to Edmonton. Finally he slept in the car on the short trip to our house.
I am sure he must have kept some people amused on the plane.....as he did at the Crematorium but that is another story.
He enjoyed meeting all his relations, even picked up a few Scottish words
Best wishes to you .
Joyce.

Joyce he must sound cute, and yes when I first went to Ireland to visit my in laws my son was 2 we were on Air Lingus and those stewardesses were so nice they kept taking him off my hands to give us a break. But he was so excited he couldn't relax. When we got back home my dad said to him....how did you like Ireland he said ''those godam miks frow stones''joromomi wrote:Hi Josephine , My wee Devin and his mammy were with me.
