Sub Lieutenant Matthew Dean Goodwin, (22), a native of Ardrossan and educated at Ardrossan Academy, died at sea when HMS Arabis was torpedoed; son of Mr and Mrs Robert Boyd Goodwin, 68 Albert Drive, Crosshill, Glasgow.
