Our discussion on this has now been moved to the public area of our board HERE

Basically, As you will see we have tried to find a solution to get this wonderful resource back up and running. If we could contact the owner of the domain, (Alex Hughes) and obtain a copy of the database, we could get it back up and running, the Heritage Centre in Saltcoats say they're willing to see it has a good home.

In addition, I'd be pleased to hear from anyone who was part of the team who assisted Alex Hughes in compiling the database. Or even how we can make contact with him, or any other help you can suggest to get this great resource back up and running for our three towns.

Thanks Hughie. It would be a great pity to lose such a valuable resource!
