Maybe the RBSin Nineyard Street went to Dockhead Street first and then to Chapelwell Street. The Nineyard Street one wasn't automated when I was there. I forgot about the Paisley Trustees. There might even have been others. You might be able to tell me the name of one of the fellows from the Royal who went to the exchanges. I remember he had a brief case that was padlocked to his wrist.

In 1957-1959 I worked in the Royal Bank of Scotland in Saltcoats and also in the sub office in Stevenston. As Creamolafoam said the Saltcoats branch was indeed in Nineyard Street.
