Thinking, do I stay up or go to bed. Picking up my mate and his wife at 4 am then heading to the airport for a flight to Majorca. :gamer1:

I'm thinking about starting a new topic in the 3T lounge on 'Families' or 'Memories of Families' - something like that. Not immediate families: that would involve us and our sons and daughters, but going back maybe two generations to our grandparents families. There must be a lot of history there. As a newcomer to the 3Ts website, however, I would like some advice from members who have been here much longer than me. Has this been done? If I set the ball rolling would others be likely to pick it up and run with it? I know my family. What I would like to read about are other members families. I have had a brief look at the response to recent topics. The 'Walk around ...' series draws many responses and Hughie's 'Words we used' likewise but the majority, while being widely read, don't get many people joining in. What do you think, what would you advise?

Retsum - getting people to join in a thread is something you just cant predict - best advice is try it, and see what happens. Sometimes a throwaway remark starts a fantastic response and other times something you think is really interesting doesn't get a cheep! Have a go ....

You know me, John, just stirring. I think the cats are a 'shoe in' next week in the grand final against Collingwood, the Magpies are lucky to be there. Maybe my mighty Demons (Melbourne F.C.) will come good next year.

Just put all our summer clothes into cases and up into the loft for the winter - feel I am still waiting for the summer and someone has stolen autumn - sad :(
