In today's Glasgow Herald (now just called the Herald) the travel writer gave his top five road trips. Two of them may be of interest to our Antipodean friends and one to our Californian members.
At number 3 was the 'Capatin Cook Highway' Cairns to Mossman(47 miles); 5th was Southern Scenic Route, Dunedin to Milford Sound (248 miles).
No 1 was Route One California, Long Beach to San Francisco (612 miles)
They must be good to beat the drive from Ardrossan up the Clyde Coast to Gourock!
