Just watched the 2018 concert from New York. It was shown this weekend on the Sky Arts channel although twice It has been aired at Easter. A great performance from a mostly black cast in modern clothing. I saw the originale film in 1970 and well remembered all the great songs by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.
The end scene where he rises up to Heaven on a cross was particularly moving.
A masterpiece of entertainment.
