I watched this competition from Brighton last night with my 8 year old grandson but when Peter Wright came on he was shocked by his flamboyant appearence: I hadn't the heart to tell him he was Scottish.

Never in a million year's would I have thought a bit of flamboyance on the telly these days could shock an 8 year old.

Jings bonzo, that's a bit of a shock as I had no idea Henrik had taken up the derts. And oor Robert will be fair gutted, especially as he's a staunch Gers man.

Seriously though, first round shocks are becoming less of a surprise these days as the standard is so high now. Top pro's have to be at it right from the word go.
