THE STANLEY BURN

The town Councils of Ardrossan and Saltcoats are at present considering what steps should be taken to confine Stanley Burn to a defined channel in order that the amenity of the beach may be improved.

It has been remitted to the Surveyors of both burghs to prepare a report on works which they consider could with advantage be carried out.

The burn is the boundary at the beach between the towns.
