Here's a couple of web-cam links for you ex-pats Arran lovers.In the first one you can click on a live link, and if you time it right you can see the ferry arriving or departing.

Can anyone who has been lucky enough to visit Brodick recently tell me what the apparent construction work at the pier is about?

Upgrades to the pier. They’re building a new pier, just south of the existing one, which will have capacity for 2 ferries.
