Hi there Charlie played with The Soul Pack Tamala based group went to London and nearly made it Jim Smith was a teriffic song writer and I covered 2 of his songs in the recording studio Jim does not keep well at all and is in a nursing home Im in the Chase photo played keyboards from start to break up.

The Kulax were from Stevenston and were more 67/68 than 64/65. As far as I remember they had Robin Stirrat on organ, David McMillan on drums, Raymond Hazeldene, bass, Gordon Munro on guitar and Alan Young on vocals. David McMillan and Gordon Munro subsequently played with me in The Vision. Alan Young depped for The Vision one night at Beith Community Centre.
