Condolences to the family, Morag. I was at school with Alistair Northcote (Ardrossan). His dad died in the war and his stepdad was Tam Dick the builder who lived in Ardrossan at the corner of Seaton Street and Glasgow Lane in the mid fifties. Alistair if I recall rightly married Anna Dale from Saltcoats and most likely unrelated,
