SALTCOATS PARISH CHURCH BAZAAR

The third day’s proceedings in connection with the bazaar for the new Parish Church was commenced on Saturday in the Town Hall.

Sir William Arrol, M.P., presided, and there was a large attendance.

The Chairman said he had great pleasure in coming to take part in the opening ceremony of the bazaar. The young lady who was to open the bazaar was the daughter of a family well known in Ayrshire for some centuries back. There was none more respected in the county than the family to which Lady Georgiana Mure belongs to.

The second day’s drawings amounted to £560 7s 10d, bringing up the total to £1091 7s.
