That's a grand lookin' stage bonzo, in fact for a wee split second there I actually mistook it for the Sydney Opera Hoose, haha.
Here's hopin' it stays dry for you folks.

Re: Free concert
Walked past there to-day at one o'clock and it was let us say a mature audience. I just hear it as shouting stuff to background thumping. They have a big beer tent so I guess things will get more interesting. Not a nice day with wind, rain and cold.
Re: Free concert
I went down for the last few acts. As you say, the audience demographic was interesting. My daughter, in her 20s and a regular festival attender, hadn’t heard of any of the “headliners”, and wasn’t particularly impressed. She said “The audience is mostly old guys..."
The skids were pretty much as I remember them from the early 80s - but much older, and obviously without Stuart Adamson.
JJ Gilmour is undoubtedly talented - but didn’t quite exude a party/festival atmosphere
Audience was well behaved. Saw one young guy getting arrested...
Queue at the bar was sloooow.
Staging and production was good.
I’m told that the toilets were very clean...

Re: Free concert
Only made it for the skids, and as usual they were magic. I once saw a guy with a t shirt saying "old punks don't die they just stand at the back" I now resemble that remark

Re: Free concert
What are 'skids'?
Re: Free concert
glenshena they are an old Scottish punk rock band from the 70s and 80s.
