Sulpher Crested Cockatoos - from our bedroom window. A likely caption would be " Hello Cocky".

Sulphur Crested Cockatoos attracted to the drinking water in our birdbath. We've been having a pair visiting, morning and night - their screeching is awful loud. Now they've brought some mates. They'll soon be heading back North as it gets cooler here in southern Australia.

They looked even prettier when dry and before they had their morning bath.

Re: My Wildlife Photos
No, the parrots are not noisy, Meg. But those Sulphur Crested Cockatoos in the earlier post gather in flocks around here for five or six months - you wouldn't believe the noise they make. They seem to have quietened down at present or are gradually heading North as the cold weather approaches here in the south.

Re: My Wildlife Photos
Encountered this seal having a wee snooze on the rudder of a docked ship as we sailed up the river on the ferry into Melbourne - probably got there before they started unloading the ship?
Re: My Wildlife Photos
I don't believe this, pull the rudder one.
