Australian Parrots

Post by Hughie »

While having breakfast at the McCubbin household in Melbourne yesterday we were visited by Bobby and Netta's daily feathered visitors. The first photo I believe is that of Rainbow Lorikeets. The second is a Crimson Rosella.

Thanks for sharing your photos, Hewmac. The parrots look beautiful with their colourful plummage set against the background of green... so striking and they look so tame also.
When I need you... I just
close my eyes and I'm
with you...

Hi Hugh.
Thank you for those lovely photos, the colours are
lovely. I thought the parrot Roberts friend has is nice
but it is dull in comparison. She is an African Gray
but she is a great talker.
Ellen.

Love your parrots, Hughie. I snapped these two on a trip to the Blue Mountains a few years ago.
