Aussie rules finals

Post by Hughie »

Aussie Rules Football. Very complicated. The top eight teams in the league play-off in the finals. Last night at the MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) there were 95,000 fans. My team finished 9th in the home and away season. :( so their season is over.

I've watched and enjoyed it on tv in the past, but I'm not an avid follower. 95,000 fans at a single match though is very impressive.

Another 95,000 at the MCG for the preliminary final today - Grand Final next week. Always settle down with a few beers with the pies in the oven for half time. Richmond Vs Adelaide 90,000 Richmond fans and 5,000 Adelaide fans. Result? Who knows.

Grand final this Saturday, Richmond (Tigers) Vs Adelaide (Crows). Should be a great match. :) State Public holiday on Friday.
