Australia Vs Brasil

Post by Hughie »

Friendly match at the MCG tonight. On Saturday there was a friendly match between Argentina and Brasil where 95,000 attended. Oops! Brasil scored against Australia in the first minute. Wonder what else is on the box...

Noticed Australia are well on course to qualify for next yrs world cup. Must be third or fourth on the trot as well, a record that we over can only dream about over the last twenty yrs.
And when has a scotsman ever seen brasil written other than the nation itself?! Always brazil

All factually correct sir. Australia heading towards the world cup...yes, scotland going out at the qualification stage again, probably. We are lying 61st in the fifa rankings that should tell you all about where we are.
Your knowledge on tennis & now football seem limited at best.

1 Rangers
2 St Johnstone
3 Celtic
4 Aberdeen
Think st Johnstone have been strong over the last few seasons and will hold off celtic who will struggle in league due to their europa lge commitments

I am a bluenose, so I'm never going to pick any other team to win the spfl. You being an "ex rangers supporter" wouldn't understand :)

In the grand scale of things, friendlies dont mean a lot, but it must be a treat for the aussies to see the likes of brazil & germany in town.
Will all be about qualification for next yrs world cup at the end of the day.
