The Chase has been going here in Oz for a few years and now Ann and Mark are featuring in our Aussie version of the show along with a couple of our local quiz experts. Wife enjoys it! I admire they way Bradley conducts the UK show - he's a natural.

Never miss The Chase. Bradley Walsh started of as a comedian .Very good. Does Law and Order UK .Watched his new show Wednesday night AT THE PALLADIUM. Good to see a good variety show back on air.
Edit- There was talk a few years back about The Chase being shown in America ,with Bradley Walsh and Mark being on it. Not sure what happened.

Re: Pointless or The Chase?
I enjoy POINTLESS but only if THE CHASE isn't on. So far, it looks like THE CHASE is the favourite?
Nothing is ever really lost to us as long as we remember it.

Re: Pointless or The Chase?
The difference for me is that I can often beat the contestants on THE CHASE and sometimes the 'chaser' (probably an 'age' thing) - earlier this week, for example, a young contestant didn't know what half a shilling was !
I sometimes haven't a clue on POINTLESS - it was never in my psyche to score nothing and I struggle with the concept!

Re: Pointless or The Chase?
I just think alot of younger people on quiz shows don't know much about history and quite recent history at that

None of them If anything something I recorded that was most probably on at 3 in the morning
History isn't taught as it was , nothing really before 1945, and certainly NO Scottish History ,
I know that'll get up some folk's noses, but that is the curriculum and has been for at least 30 years.
I would be happy to discuss it on another thread
