Yep. People associate Streep with good movies and it's not always the case.

My faves of her's are 'Devil Wears Prada' and 'Bridges of Madison County'.

Watched From Russia with Love this week - really cheesy and it was before Sean Connery had his speech impediment implanted (the 'sh' instead of 's') but really enjoyed the story. Put me in the notion of watching all the early 007 movies.

Sean Connery was for me definitely the sexiest of all the James Bond Actors. Don't know about a speech impediment, all his films are dubbed over here.

Well 'M' was female in the last few movies. The difference (and I'm getting on my soap box a bit here) is that Ian Fleming based 007 on a real person - Sir Fitzroy McLean - so a race/sex change wouldn't sit as well as the change in Doctor Who. However, I really don't care as long as it's not political correctness just for the sake of it.

By the way, Sir Fitzroy was MP for Bute and North Ayrshire from the late 50s to early 70s.

Watched the remake of the sweeney, petty standard ray Winstone stuff. He's nae john thaw though.

I'm sure you know he wore a wig not only on his head but on his chest. Apparently females found him attractive. He starred in a film where he played a simple soldier who carried a bren gun at the Normandy landings and who hated the bagpipes.
