The bookies at Mayfield shops had a guy working in it with one leg if my memory is correct. He used to work in a bookies at Stevenston cross up from the Douglas pub Im sure. Then Sandy Innes and Ian Whiteford bought it over and called it Sandfords before Robert Reid took it over. This is all in my memory but knowing me it will probably be wrong
