Hi, Phyl, I am Scottish by birth but have been in Aus. since 1964, same as Hugh and Betty.
Bob and I are now Aust. Citizens. We have 2 Aussie kids, a daughter and a son and 3 lovely Aussie Grandkids.

Phyl, just to make you jealous, my Scottish friend gave me some tablet this morning.
Delicious, but certainly not good for the diet, nor the cholesterol.

Everything with sugar Catherine, a piece an' sugar, a stick o' rhubarb an' a poke o' sugar, half an apple, orange (rarely)or tomato dipped in sugar...
I remember being given the well cooked rib bones from the soup to chew on, you could gnaw them down to almost nothing! Probably very good for you but today's youngsters would probably be horrified

L.P., it's always amazing to me who thought of whatever, I mean, eg, who looked at a snail and thought, hmmm, I bet that would be tasty with a little butter and garlic! (no, I've never tried it and don't intend to

Morag,

thinking about "old stinson", nae much left of that!

I was in "B" course but cannie find one, I think all my classsmates
