Hopefully this is a link to one of the picture
It should be old, looking up New Street at the centre in the distance the Cross Keys and the fountain

The picture is somewhere on the forum.

I have a copy but the file is too large to upload,
plus for various reasons (none rational) I don't subscribe to p.interest

The most important hour is always the present, the most significant person is the one opposite you right now, and the most necessary deed is always love. - Meister Eckhart (c.1260 - c.1328)

Mr Warner's Fountain

The site of this fountain has again been changed, owing, partly, to the inconvenience caused by horse traffic approaching from New Street to the water trough obstructing the traffic from other parts of the town, and partly on account of the inability of the bridge to support its weight on the crown of the arch. The new position will, we believe, be more suitable.
