There is a lot of stuff that generally you can't recycle.
So I finished the last two hobnobs in the packet , and thinking the packet goes into the grey bin,
But No there is a link on the packet to a firm TerraCycle and they recycle the hard to recycle stuff .
I looked at the site and you use the search facility and off you go.
I used crisp bag for a search
The site says within 4 miles, and it appears that system is multi layer and the community base receives benefits
The crisp bag search revealed Walkers have the banner, do doubt Walker donate to the company , and in turn that is passed on to the collection point
One was Irvine Royal Academy , another was Elderbank Primary and Organic Growers of Fairlie
As I said that was the only search I did, can't see anything negative.
