Corsankell Farm And A Wee Mystery
Re: Corsankell Farm And A Wee Mystery
Never really knew about rights of way. I always thought any land belonging to a farmer meant he had the right to boot you off it.
If you head up to High Smithstown farm, he has a sign saying "Private Road".

A wee bit off topic but interested in the sign at the High Smithton. Its a public road that passes through the farm. Similarly at Lochwood there the farmer has signs imploring folk not to run over is dogs and cats. If its a right of way the farmer can't kick you off and now we have the right to roam.

Viv,you might be interested to know that your uncle taught Ana Smith and you can see her photograph on the schools homepage. Living out in the wilds not mixing with folk she was very self conscious personally I found her fascinating very attractive.

Aye JD her lassie sat just in front of me and I was smitten. Fair hair and very attractive think she left school at fifteen. Viv that photo doesn't do her justice. Strange life being brought up out in the wilds and really I don't think its good for young folk. Viv have you never gone up to the High Smithstone farm? The signs at Lochwood are plain to see.

Yes. I have been up at High Smithstown. That is how I know they have "Private" signs.5siamese7 wrote:Aye JD her lassie sat just in front of me and I was smitten. I cannot comment on the photo as I cannot find it.

Well did you go through the farm and did anybody stop you?
Re: Corsankell Farm And A Wee Mystery
No. Because of the "PRIVATE ROAD" signs.
Who was this Ana Smith. I am lost here.

Ana Smith was lovely to think that she ran about and played around that place. All gone now, but probably in her head forever.
