I can get it reasonably priced in 3 local shops, buy it and freeze it, Not that we eat it every week

Right on Meg. They used to call it Flake in the fish shops here in Oz. A peculiarity of Oz chip shops is that you have to make a specific request, with the shop assistant examining you for your second head, for vinegar. Have even been in the odd shop that didn't have it. And even busy pub restaurants that did not have it at the salad bar! And when you do get them to put it on its peely waly white wine vinegar instead of the real brown malt vinegar stuff! Just came across this while checking something else. You have got a wee bit mixed up with nos.ardrossanrentboy wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2013 2:10 pm Meg, The first houses were from the top of Millglen Rd to Firth View Terrace and No 1 was the McLaughlins, 3 I can't remember, 5 the Wards, 7 the McIntyres, 9 the Nelsons, 11 the Tracys, 13 the McMorlands, 15 slipped my mind, 17 Mrs Garry, 19 god knows ... later houses 21 the O'Hares, 23 the Watts, 25 the Porters, 27 the Donnellys and I get mixed up after that. When they built the newer houses along to the Lawson Dr. junction they renumbered them and we became either 61 or 63 Clyde Terrace before moving to Harvey Gardens. (5apt.) I vaguely remember Townsleys from ? Kirkhall and possibly Firth View Tce although I think I played football with Tommy. Opposite us were the Ramsays, next to them the Canavans and past Whitecraigs I didn't know the next house but Sadie and James and John Brown were in the last one.
The O'Hares were 73,
The Watts/McCubbins were 75
The Porters were77
The Donnelly's were 79
The McEvoys were 81
The Calverts were 83
Bobby McCubbin has come up with these names and addresses. He lived at 75.
