Hi
I am trying to find out some info on whether there are any Marroni, Brogi or Carrinos still in the area. My great grandmother was Dora Marroni (married as MacFarlane) and my gran Sylvia Macfarlane (then Quirk) moved to England and lost contact. I think Brogis and Carrinos are also related from info I have been passed. I think the Marronis had a shop on Glasgow St and Castle Cafe many years gone by!
I am visiting the area soon so any info would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Kirsty
At the top of the page on the right side is a search function. I entered Marroni and got this result:
https://threetowners.net/forum/search.p ... ds=marroni
You could try the other names as well.
Also, the Ardrossan and Saltcoats Herald may have some intimations. You can have a look here:

You have to register but it's free.

When I read the name Carrino it reminded me of the hairdressers at the top of Canal St. Used to get my hair cut there. Don't know though if they are still around the three towns.
