Loved it, we even thought that we saw our Brother-in-law being served in the Candy Bar. But it would have to have been filmed a few years ago for it to be him.

Loved it Ellen, thanks a lot for finding it. I keep replaying it and pausing to see what's changed-and how much looks really just the same ! Susan

Thanks for that Ellen, loved it. The woman who appears with Gerry, is his mum, who taught me many years ago at St. Peter's. She was a really great teacher, who introduced us to 'modern hymns'. JammyDodger

Hi all, haven't posted here for ages. Website is looking good!

Jammy, who was the teacher? I was at St Peters as well, and her face is vaguely familiar but I can't quite put a name to it. What hymns did she teach you? - can you remember? :D
still, you don't expect to be bright and bon vivant

(sorry don't know how do do the quote thing!) Done Admin.

Hello Hullaw, His mum was Mrs McCulloch (don't know her first name) she was at St. Peter's round about 1974 onwards. The first 'happy-clappy' hymn as I call them, that we learned was Lord of the Dance, this was a revelation, after singing dirges for years. Can't remember any of the rest, but that one has always stuck in my mind. Mrs McCulloch I think went on to teach at St. Mary's in Largs, she may even have been the head teacher, but don't quote me on that. Her husband Gerry, taught at St. Andrew's. JammyDodger
