I did love it, Jean. Imagine the work that goes into such a performance - all that work after the public are out of the rink. Wife and I watch the ice skating every Saturday afternoon here in Oz on our SBS TV service. In any sport you have to admire the commitment even in local sport.

Wee quick look at the music faves and was reminded once again how different my sisters and I were, I can understand my wee sis, being almost 10 years younger but big sis, only 2 years apart..could not be more different, same with food mind you!

Poor ma my foot! You ate what she made or you made your own! My dad went on an extended trip to India with I.C.I ships, came back and was making curries..hmmm, yum, my kinda fare, mum was more mince n' tatties, stew...we seemed to have a pattern for food based on the day, we never went hungry and were never allowed to waste (though many times I wished, lol!) I liked hot and spicy, still do, as a young teen, maybe earlier, I'd sneak a wee teaspoon of Tabasco, we had a bottle courtesy of rellies from more exotic climes
