If you're stuck at home and bored during this terrible virus crisis. Consider getting a moothie (harmonica) in the key of C and learn to play a few simple tunes. There's plenty of advice on the internet for learners. Women as well as men can enjoy playing the harmonica - our harmonica group here in Oz has more women than men.

When you get going check out the harmonica tabs for your favourite songs at https://www.harptabs.com/

Thats a lovely Arran pattern Meg. My mum did so many Arran pullovers for us all. I would love to knit, I brought back all my knitting pins when I was in Saltcoats, but I can't get out to buy the wool!

Maybe you could buy some wool on line Jean. See if there’s anything suitable at this website.

Today I made my third attempt at baking scones. My best result so far. Thanks to hahaya. The grandchildren enjoyed them so I'll be making them again as my SIL arrived too late and they were all gone. Anything to pass the time.

My friend wants me to take up bridge - seemingly younger people aren’t interested and older people are dying off (not with the virus I may add, but in general) so in between sewing, knitting, ukulele playing and watching TV (oh and navel contemplating) I might just have a go...

Been playing the moothie for years Hughie probably not as good as you. My Brother was a whistler and in order to shut him up at work his workmates bought him a moothie. He never stopped whistling but he gave me the moothie and I took it up. Starting on Jigsaw puzzles the day.
