Getting plenty of rain today and only to be 11 degrees. Brrr. Had hoped to be up in Cairns in the tropics at this time of the year - maybe at the end of the month.

Hughie it was so hot in Cambridge a week or 2 ago i started to think like oor Morag- i want Rain i want Rain probably for the first time in my life. phew...

No doubt I'll be thinking the same thing in February, Brian. At present with Spring approaching here it'll be great to hear the Blackies singing their song and waking me up in the morning. Love it when that happens.

Still 'bilin' hot here 
won't get a break until mid October, good grief! If I could drive I'd be off to Laguna Beach...I don't drive,don't like hot sunny weather, God's got a bit o' the devil in Him / Her, having me end up in Southern California!
