Irvine library was nice yesterday. I went on their computers with the rain battering off the roof. Very comforting.

I was to pay for my coffee by approaching someone else. Rather than tell me "Could you give the other girl the cash", it was nodded to me. So ignorant.

Two big pet hate's for me are arrogant people who for some unknown reason think they're above you, and also folk who act all friendly to your face but happily spread all sorts of crap about you behind your back. Grrrr.

Actually if you smile at people when you put in your request they respond better.

Don't worry about it Michael these sort of folk often get their comeuppance.

Cooking the Sunday heart attack breakfast. The coffee and tea are ready the toast is in the rack, the beans are going round in the microwave , push everything to the side of the big frying pan, crack the eggs and the last one breaks its yolk ...

I never had beans for breakfast..it was a tea time thing, beans on toast.

Kids having tantrums in the supermarket.
Mind you, we have short memories - our kids just had the occasional wee scream wanting lollies (sweeties). They never fell to the floor kicking and screaming.

They are way over the top. Same on buses.
There is one family who travels locally and the language this kid uses on its mother you would not believe. He refers to his mother as an "F* cow".
