I don't remember it from when it happened but in hearing about it later. Think I posted before about a surprising number of men in a direct area from the factory / nylon plant who died of esophagal cancer, and of us girls having our nylons melt into holes as we stood chatting at lunchtime at school..acid rain? Well, I guess as long as the corporations made a profit..what do a few locals matter? If the money was put into medicine and education we'd be better off.
