Garage at top of Glasgow Street
Anybody remember the garage at the top of Glasgow Street across from the Plazza? It was a red corregated iron structure. I think it it had one hand petrol pump. But who owned it? I think it was destroyed by a fire.

in the web site for the first time and guess what in the then and now site I just spotted my late Dad getting off the bus at the top of Glasgow Street (1975) He must have being going to the bookie's. Wow!!!! Thanks.

I seem to remember in the late fifties etc. the sirens were tested but there were notices posted around the town when ever these tests were to happen.

The workshops for Ardrossan were In central avenue, next to where the doctors surgery is now. I dont know where they were prior to this.
