Hi I can help a little the guy second left at back is Ian Martin , cartridge runner at the misk (he went on to become a foreman later on) . The guy fourth right with 70's afro type hair is Andy auld, now owner / manager of the Victoria bar in Kilwinning . I do know others in the photo but my memory ...

Yes them were indeed the days.I played in the paddling pool many a time .I think they demolished it late 70,s early 80,s.

Hi GEODGC it's postmarked 1964. I did'nt know what the building was, but "slugger Olsen" has kindly identified the building for us.

My wife and I climbed it one time .Years after we said we would ,I had a wee health scare, and after that it gave us a kick in the bum to actually do the things you should. We are really happy to have climbed it , It was amazing !

A guy said to me the other day " it's on the bing" when I tried to use an out of order cash machine, had to think about it for a second,had'nt heard that phrase for so long I'd almost forgotten it.

Hi all I was speaking to Jim Harvie on Sunday in Potters, and told him there was some doubt about the year of the school picture he gave me to post, after some discussion, and rummeging through his memory he has changed the year to 1965 and he says the teacher was Mrs Mclaughlin.
