Thanks for all your replies. I may be wrong but I was led to believe that restless legs and muscle spasms were two different things. It is good to know that they are not fatal.i will sleep better now.

Just spoken with my G.P.he took blood in July and the thyroid was one of the things he checked. I have no problem there. So back to square one.

Just googled this and I have quite a few symptoms of an under active thyroid. What a vision hughie still suppose it was better than betty Davis eyes.
