Meg, I think I could only have deleted the entire post if it was the most recent one submitted to the Topic and therefore hadn't yet been replied to, as I can only see the wee X you mentioned in those circumstances.

I should maybe just have left it as it was anyway and I'd be happy to see it deleted by yourselves.

It's nothing other than that. :)
Neither Hughie nor I will ever delete a post without being asked by the author - but you can delete your own - the X next to the pencil icon in the top right of the post will get do the job.

Yes Meg, because I noticed that another poster had somehow deleted a post that I had replied to with the above one. Not wanting to look like an idiot I thought that editing it to just a simple ( . ) was the best solution.

Michael - did you delete the content of this post when you edited it a second time?

Hope you don't mind me posting this from the School Photo's morag, if so I'll edit it out.
I see yourself and a Paul Campbell in it, so I'd imagine he could well have been an older brother of my classmate John Campbell.
Also, my sister Joan McDermott is in this photo as well. It's a small world eh?

And here's one with myself first left in the back row. John Cambell is first left in the row just in front of me.
Not 100% sure if the date shown is entirely accurate. Remember all these folk well.

Wish I could edit the spelling of our surname in both these pics. Mind you, there are a few variations of it so I'm not criticising anyone - least of all me old pal Jim Harvey who's standing next to me in the pic. :)
